For me, Matrix Reimprinting is a combination of techniques including EFT, NLP and hypnosis. It supports the client in exploring trauma, taking learnings from the experience, and rewriting the associated memory. This in turn minimises or removes the trauma’s impact on the client. It is a very specific technique in isolation. However, when combined with other approaches, it offers a uniquely creative experience for clients that can help them move past deep-rooted trauma.
Who is it for?
Matrix Reimprinting is especially valuable for individuals who tend to over-think and relive past events or have strong unexpected emotional responses to current events. In particular, Matrix Reimprinting can support individuals who experience:
- High emotions
- Unprocessed grief
- Chronic pain
- Stress and burnout
Depending on my client’s challenge, I would use Matrix Reimprinting for individual sessions as part of a longer journey. Usually, the technique would be offered as an option based on the focus of our sessions and specific patterns I’ve noticed in my client’s thinking and behaviour. I use this technique with gentleness and care to heal the past and support clients in opening up to new thinking about childhood experiences. This insight can then be applied to the present and often creates space for the client to make progress by releasing their hold on the past.
